Spanner 2.0
Der gemeine Voyeur, im Volksmund auch abfällig einfach nur Spanner genannt, dürfte an HBOs neuem Projekt seine helle Freude haben.
Der US-amerikanische Fernsehkanal startet unter der Adresse www.HBOVoyeur.com ein Projekt, und beschreibt es mit mit den Worten: “The HBO Voyeur Project is a collection of multi-media stories that HBO has built around the theme of voyeurism. [...] It comes together in a silent film that will be projected on the side of a building, and extends to the HBO channel, HBO on Demand, and online at HBOVoyeur.com. There are also “artifacts” of the characters everywhere, pieces of story which have been sprinkled around the web and in the real world to heighten the experience for those who like to get involved. “(Quelle: thestorygetsdeeper.com)
Und weiter: “The website is a virtual city which features a four floor apartment building that you can peek into and zoom in and out of. You can also navigate through the city to peek into four other apartments in various locations. So gibt es zusätzlich zur eigentlichen Seite “phone numbers to call, character social page profiles, fake websites, and real world events tied to this promotion” (Quelle: bannerblog.com.au) HBO nennt dies “Hyper Media” und entführt den geneigten Betrachter in eine Welt aus konstruierten Realitäten.
Das Blog zur Seite, “The Story Gets Deeper“, hilft zumindest ansatzweise das Konzept des Projektes zu verstehen. Das große Aha-Erlebnis kam bei mir jedoch auch nach längerer Lesearbeit nicht! Wahrscheinlich hatte ich nicht die Lust Laune Energie diese, oder diese oder diese oder diese Seite bis ins letzte Detail zu lesen.
Auf den ersten Blick scheint HBOVoyeur eine Spielerei zu sein, der zweite Blick ließ mich genauer hinsehen. Vielleicht reicht es demnächst für einen dritten Blick…
